My goal in any portrait is to let some element of a person's spirit shine through. That is something I strive to do by: spending more time with fewer clients allowing them to relax and enjoy themselves, using my personality and sense of calm to bring about honest and true expressions and providing a home studio with a comfortable, casual, artistic environment.

Expressions showing a depth and soul beneath the exterior that are honest, true and hopeful, are my favorites.

I grew up in the Chicago area, earned a college degree from Arizona State and went on to graduate school at The Art Institute of Chicago. I still continue my education with classes and workshops keeping up with the latest technology and trends both in photography, computer enhancements, painting, and traditional art classes.
